Job summary

Select Medical's Northfield outpatient orthopedic center is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to provide patient care to a diverse population.

The PTA will work full-time, Monday through Friday, with evenings until 7pm and no weekends, earning $30.00-$35.00 per hour based on experience. Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Must have CAPTE national PTA exam certification.
• Must hold or be eligible for a state PTA license.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
• Deliver high-quality physical therapy services for patients in accordance with policy.
• Maintain positive interactions with centers and patients to support relationships.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
• Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
• Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.

Qualifications

• College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program
• Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
• Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)
• CPR certification
