Job summary

ProSport Physical Therapy & Performance, part of Therapy Partners Group, seeks a dedicated Outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team in Orange County.

Responsibilities include guiding patient follow-ups, assisting in treatment planning, applying therapeutic interventions, documenting progress in Raintree, and educating patients and families on exercises and home care. Collaboration with the healthcare team is essential.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a PTA.
• Outpatient experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform therapeutic exercises and modalities as directed by the PT.
• Assist PT in developing and implementing treatment plans.
• Apply manual therapy, exercise prescriptions, modalities, and patient education.
• Document patient progress using Raintree and report changes to the PT.
• Educate patients and families on exercises, pain management, and care plans.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safe, effective care.

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Follow Up: Conduct therapeutic exercises and modalities as instructed by the physical therapist.
• Treatment Planning:Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing patient treatment plans.
• Therapeutic Interventions: Implement various therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, exercise prescriptions, modalities, and patient education.
• Documentation: While using Raintree, Monitor and document patient progress during treatment sessions, reporting changes to the physical therapist.
• Patient Education:Educate patients and families on exercises, pain management techniques, and care plans
• Professional Atmosphere: Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care and safety.

Qualifications:

• Associate Degree as Physical Therapy Assistant from accredited institution.
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Previous outpatient experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
