WelbeHealth is looking for a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) in San Jose, California. In this role, you will be part of an interdisciplinary team, providing restorative and rehabilitative services to elderly participants in both centers and homes.
The position focuses on patient-centered care with minimal patient volumes, allowing for strong relationships. The role includes responsibilities such as administering treatments, assisting in patient assessments, and coordinating individual care plans. The PTA is an integral part of the IDT, collaborating with other members of the Rehabilitation team to implement care plans and provide direct care to participants. Under the direction of a Physical Therapist, the PTA provides restorative and rehabilitative physical therapy services to participants at the centre and in their homes to maximise independence, safety, and to develop or restore function.
We are seeking PTAs that ideally have outpatient, acute, inpatient, or skilled nursing experience.
Base salary plus bonus. Salary range: $38.74 – $51.14 USD per hour (actual compensation will be determined based on experience and relevant qualifications).
