Job summary

Select Physical Therapy in Punta Gorda, FL is recruiting a Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant to join our outpatient orthopedic team. You will work closely with two PTs and one OT, focusing on orthopedic caseloads with potential in vestibular rehab, sports medicine, industrial therapy, fall prevention, and ACL programs.

Qualifications

• College graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Passed the National PTA exam (CAPTE).
• Active Florida PTA license or license in process.
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
• Deliver high-quality physical therapy services with minimal supervision for patients and facilities.
• Maintain positive interactions with centers, patients, and staff to support care.
• Contribute to outpatient orthopedic caseload with opportunities in vestibular rehab, sports medicine, and ACL programs.

Schedule: Monday - Friday
Pay: Starting at $27+/hr, based on experience
Incentives: $12,000 sign-on bonus + $200/month student loan repayment

Our outpatient center in Punta Gorda is seeking a Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our growing team. You will work alongside two PT and one OT, treating primarily orthopedic cases with opportunities in vestibular rehab, sports medicine, industrial therapy, fall prevention, and ACL programs. New grads and experienced PTAs, welcome!

• Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
• Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
• Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.
• College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program
• Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
• Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)
• CPR certification
