Job summary

Select Physical Therapy's outpatient center in Lutz, FL is seeking a Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant to join a team of four clinicians specializing in outpatient orthopedics, sports medicine, vestibular, and hand therapy.

You will work under a licensed physical therapist, provide high-quality PT services, maintain patient relations, and support center operations. A college PTA program graduate, CAPTE exam passed, and CPR certification are required; license in process welcomed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PTA program with CAPTE eligibility or certification.
• Valid state PTA license (or license in process).
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for patient care under the direction of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by state practice act.
• Provide high-quality physical therapy services with minimal supervision.
• Maintain positive interactions with centers, patients and staff.

Job description

Position: Physical Therapist Assistant - Outpatient Orthopedics

Location: Lutz, FL

Schedule: Full-time Mon - Fri 40 hrs/wk, within our hours of operation: Mon-Thurs 7am-7pm, Fri 7am-6pm

Compensation: Starting at $26+/hr. Starting hourly rate calculated by experience.

Select Physical Therapy's outpatient center has an immediate need for a Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA). Work with a highly experienced team of 4 clinicians treating outpatient orthopedics, sports medicine, vestibular, hand therapy, and industrial Mentoring available.

• Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
• Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
• Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.
• College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program
• Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
• Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)
• CPR certification
