AVIR is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide compassionate patient care on a per diem basis at our Post, Texas location. Under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, you will implement individualized treatment plans to improve strength, mobility, balance, and functional independence.

Qualifications

• Licensed Texas Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
• Graduate of an accredited PTA program
• Current CPR/BLS certification, as required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Perform therapeutic exercises and functional activities according to the plan of care.
• Assist patients with gait training, transfers, mobility, balance, and strengthening.
• Monitor and document patient progress and response to treatment.
• Communicate patient status to the supervising Physical Therapist and healthcare team.
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation.
• Follow facility policies, safety procedures, and professional standards.
• Provide respectful, patient-centered care.

Job Summary

AVIR is looking for a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide compassionate, high-quality patient care on a per diem basis at our Post, Texas location.

The PTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide individualized treatments designed to improve patients' strength, mobility, balance, coordination, and overall functional independence.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Perform therapeutic exercises and functional activities according to the established plan of care.
• Assist patients with gait training, transfers, mobility, balance, and strengthening activities.
• Monitor and document patient progress and response to treatment.
