As a PTA, you will implement individualized treatment plans, perform therapeutic exercises, document progress, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support residents and meet regulatory standards. New graduates are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Texas PTA license in good standing.
• Graduate of accredited PTA program.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Implement individualized treatment plans based on residents' needs and goals.
• Provide therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance activities, transfer training, mobility training, and functional activities.
• Monitor residents' response to treatment and communicate progress to the supervising PT.
• Educate residents and caregivers regarding exercises, mobility, safety, and functional activities.
• Complete accurate and timely treatment documentation.
• Collaborate with PTs, OTs, COTAs, SLPs, nursing staff, and other team members.
• Participate in care planning to support residents in functional goals.
• Maintain compliance with facility, state, and federal regulations.

AVIR at Eagle Pass is seeking compassionate and dedicated Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) to join our in-house rehabilitation team. We are hiring for both Full-Time and Per Diem opportunities.

This is an excellent opportunity for a PTA who enjoys providing hands-on, patient-centered care and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to help residents improve mobility, function, and independence.

Position Responsibilities

• Provide skilled physical therapy services under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.

• Implement individualized treatment plans based on residents' needs and goals.

• Provide therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance activities, transfer training, mobility training, and functional activities.

• Monitor residents' response to treatment and communicate progress or changes to the supervising Physical Therapist.

• Educate residents and caregivers regarding therapeutic exercises, mobility, safety, and functional activities.
