Avir Health Group is seeking a qualified Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team in Beaumont, TX. The position is full-time with potential PRN opportunities and a focus on building a supportive facility culture alongside a supervising Physical Therapist.

You will assist in developing and implementing patient therapy plans, document progress, and contribute to a positive healthcare environment. New grads are welcome to apply and advance with our in-house rehab program.

Qualifications

• Requires an accredited PTA program degree and state license.

Responsibilities

• Plan and administer treatment to residents and patients with temporary or long term disabilities to relieve pain, restore or improve function, and promote healing
• Assure all treatment is delivered in accordance with an established plan of care
• Provide clinical support and instruct patients, families, and caregivers
• Monitor patient response to treatment intervention
• Complete required forms and documentation in accordance with company policy and state/federal regulations

We are searching for a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) who is resident and family-focused, a team builder, and excited about the opportunity to assist in building a facility culture. We are looking for someone to assist the Physical Therapist (PT) in the development and implementation of individual patient occupational therapy care plans; perform daily occupational therapy assignments to accomplish patient therapy plans and treatment goals. FT hourly rates start at $35/hr and increase based on years of experience.

PRN hourly rates start at $38/hr and increase based on years of experience.

Job Summary:

The Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) will provide direct patient care services under the direction and supervision of a Physical Therapist (PT). The PTA will be responsible for documenting patient treatments, changes in condition and other pertinent information as required.

Qualifications:

• Level of knowledge equivalent to that ordinarily acquired through completion of an associate's degree in an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant Program.
• Current license/registration by state of hire as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
