Little Angeles is a leading PPEC (Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care) facility in Orlando dedicated to providing exceptional medical day care services for children with special needs. Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team at Little Angeles. The Physical Therapist will assess and provide individualized treatment to pediatric patients with physical, developmental, and cognitive challenges. The goal is to help children enhance their ability to perform daily activities, improve independence, and reach developmental milestones. This role requires collaboration with families, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to create a supportive and holistic approach to care.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants employed or contracted by PPEC
• Follow prescribed treatment modalities
• Meet each child’s therapy frequency and duration weekly and report accordingly
• Assess the patient’s physical, communication, and cognitive skills to develop a treatment plan
• Provide advice and support for family members and caregivers
• Install necessary equipment in the room for children with disabilities and teach them how to use the equipment
• Review the patient’s progress and adapt the treatment plan accordingly
• Perform administrative tasks such as keeping records, writing reports, and making phone calls
• Perform evaluations for new patients and recertifications
• Log notes and other information into the EMR system
• Travel between PPECs (Orlando and Longwood, approximately 30 minutes drive) as needed
• Require at least 1 year of pediatric therapy experience
• Preferably credentialed with insurance companies
