Schedule: Wed, Thurs, Fri, Sat (8-hour shifts starting at 9 or 9:30 am)

Position Summary

The Physical Therapist Assistant provides Physical Therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions

• Treat patients according to professional standards
• Coordinate care with team members and counsel patients/families
• Maintain punctual attendance and adhere to policies
• Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures

Other Functions

• Create a cheerful, active treatment environment
• Demonstrate caring, honesty, and professionalism
• Participate in quality assessment, program development, supervision, safety, and infection control
• Be aware of legal issues and patient rights
• Use supplies and equipment efficiently
