Penrose Physical Therapy in Lacey, WA is expanding and seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant. You will perform evaluations and follow-ups, provide manual therapy, educate patients, and contribute to a multidisciplinary, regenerative-focused clinic.
We emphasize 1:1 patient care, advanced modalities, and ongoing education within a supportive team that values outcomes and professional growth.
Per Washington State requirements, this is a licensed position from an accredited PTA program. If you currently do not possess a PTA license, please let us know when you expected graduation date and completion of the boards would be. We're not your average PT clinic - and we're not looking for an average PTA.
Penrose Physical Therapy in Lacey, WA is expanding. We've grown into something bigger than outpatient ortho: we're building the first integrated mobility and longevity center in the South Sound - combining clinical rehab, regenerative medicine, and wellness under one roof. dry needling, EMTT, shockwave, pulsed radio frequency, red light, HBOT, PEMF, infrared sauna. This is where PT goes next.
We need a therapist who's ready to grow into that. We advise all of our patients what additional services would beneft their healing and overall health. These services are non covered and allows us to achieve better outcomes and thrive in a 1:1 model that still accepts insurance for the physical therapy portion of services.
Most evals are 60 minutes. Every follow-up is 40 minutes, one-on-one with your patient - no overlap, no handoffs, no tech doing your job. AI handles documentation so you can close notes as much as possible at time of service and go home. You'll treat complex ortho cases, work alongside experienced PTs in vestibular and pelvic health, and co-treat when it matters. Weekly provider meetings aren't check-ins - we practice skills on each other, work through tough cases, and use OCS prep materials to examine our biases and stay sharp on evidence-based practice.
You believe in manual therapy, functional loading, and patient education. You build trust fast. You can explain to a patient clearly how PT plus advanced technologies will benefit them. We will train you on the regenerative therapies but you need to have a genuine interest in the advances in regenerative therapy to do well here. You're interested in regenerative therapies and wellness not as add-ons, but as real tools that change outcomes. You want to be held accountable and you want to hold others to the same standard.
We've been helping the Lacey, Tumwater, and Olympia communities stay active and off pain pills since 2007. We're not slowing down. If you want to be part of a team that takes people from unable to walk to walking - and wants to do it with the best tools available then this is the place for you.
