Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist (PT) to join our outpatient rehabilitation team in Washington. The Physical Therapist will evaluate, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans to help patients improve mobility, reduce pain, restore function, and achieve their rehabilitation goals. New graduates are encouraged to apply, and mentorship is available.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and assessments.
- Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
- Provide therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re-education, gait training, balance training, and functional mobility activities.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate.
- Educate patients and families on home exercise programs, injury prevention, wellness strategies, and functional independence.
- Collaborate with physicians, healthcare providers, and rehabilitation team members to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with clinic policies, payer requirements, and Washington state regulations.
- Ensure compliance with evidence-based practice standards and professional ethics.
- Assist with maintaining a clean, safe, and organized therapy environment.
Qualifications
Required
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program.
- Current Washington Physical Therapist License issued by the Washington State Department of Health, or eligibility to obtain licensure prior to start date.
- Successful completion of the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE) or eligibility for licensure.
- Strong interpersonal, clinical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced outpatient setting.
Preferred
- Current CPR/BLS certification or ability to obtain upon hire.
- Previous outpatient, orthopedic, sports medicine, or rehabilitation experience.
- Experience with electronic medical records and documentation systems.
