Job summary

NovaCare Odenton, MD is seeking a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to deliver high-quality outpatient orthopedic care. You will work under a licensed PT to support patients across orthopedics, sports medicine, vestibular, and related services.

The role offers full-time, 32–40 hours weekly, with a compensation range of $29.00–$38.00 per hour and incentives including a sign-on bonus up to $3,000 plus loan assistance.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited PTA program is required.
• Must have passed the CAPTE national exam for PTAs.
• Active PTA license or in process in the relevant state.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under the supervision of a licensed PT as required by law.
• Deliver high-quality PT services to patients, caregivers and facilities.
• Maintain positive interactions with centers and staff to grow client relations.
• Meet program requirements and adhere to Select Medical policies.

Schedule & Compensation

Full Time: 32-40 hours per week.

Compensation: $29.00 - $38.00 per hour.

Incentives for Full Time: Sign‑on bonus up to $3,000 and indefinite student loan help.

Hours (Part‑Time)

We are seeking part‑time coverage on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and on Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Additional PTA coverage is available.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by the State Practice Act.
• Implement, with minimal supervision, high‑quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principles and practices of physical therapy and Select Medical policies and procedures.
• Maintain a positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.
• College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program.
• Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE.
• Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process).
• CPR certification.
