NovaCare Annapolis, part of Select Medical, is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant for outpatient orthopedics in Annapolis, MD. This full-time role supports a high-volume center with mentorship and a patient-centered focus.

You will join a large, collaborative team and provide care under a licensed PT, with opportunities in vestibular and oncology rehab as interests grow.

Qualifications

• College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program.
• Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE.
• Valid state PTA license or license in process.
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under licensed physical therapist supervision as required by state act.
• Deliver high-quality PT services with minimal supervision for patients and caregivers.
• Maintain positive interactions with centers and patients and expand relationships.

Compensation: $30.00-$38.00 per hour

Bonus: $3,000 and indefinite student loan help

Schedule: Full-time, 40 Hours, Two Evenings

Join our NovaCare Annapolis team and become part of a highly respected outpatient orthopedic practice dedicated to helping patients of all ages return to the activities they love.

As part of the Select Sports network, our center offers the opportunity to work alongside clinicians who are passionate about sports medicine, injury prevention, and performance enhancement for active individuals throughout Anne Arundel County.

You’ll be supported by a large, collaborative clinical team that values mentorship, professional growth, and clinical excellence. We welcome licensed Physical Therapist Assistants at all experience levels who are interested in orthopedics, vestibular, and oncology rehabilitation.

New graduates will benefit from a structured mentorship program designed to ease the transition into practice and build confidence from day one. Once established, our PTAs typically treat just 11-12 patients per day, allowing ample time to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care and achieve exceptional outcomes.

Our outpatient center offers a diverse list of specialties, including:

Schedule:

This is a full-time, 40-hour workweek that includes two evenings until 7:30 PM. Your last patient is scheduled an hour before your shift ends.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
• Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
• Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.
