Job summary

The Grove at Carvalho is seeking full-time PTA candidates to join our Rehab department, offering a dynamic, cutting edge environment with a $3,000 sign-on bonus for full-time hires. The role involves PTA-level care under supervision, performing treatments, and maintaining patient progress notes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant Program or Certification by the University of the State of MA
• MA Licensure is required to practice as PTA in MA

Responsibilities

• Performs Physical Therapy treatments as designated by the licensed Physical Therapist.
• Assist the Physical Therapist in determining treatment priorities, identifying goals and selecting appropriate treatment techniques.
• Establishes rapport and maintains professionalism in administering treatment to patients.
• Records patient’s modality treatments daily.
• Documents on CCP, as indicated.
• Assist with chart audits as directed.
• Writes progress notes as appropriate and reviews notes and goals with the Physical Therapist.
