Job summary

Sport and Spine Therapy of Marin, a member of Therapy Partners Group, seeks a dedicated Outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team in Marin County. You will assist the PT with patient care, document progress, and help implement individualized treatment plans.

Required is an Associate Degree in PTA with current licensure eligibility. Outpatient experience is preferred but not required, and you will work within a collaborative clinical environment that emphasizes patient-centered

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Outpatient experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
• Commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

• Patient Follow Up: conduct therapeutic exercises and modalities as instructed by the PT.
• Treatment Planning: assist PTs in developing and implementing patient plans.
• Therapeutic Interventions: implement manual therapy, exercise prescriptions, modalities, and patient education.
• Documentation: monitor and document patient progress in the EMR and report changes to PT.
• Patient Education: educate patients and families on exercises and care plans.
• Professional Atmosphere: collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safety and quality.

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Follow Up: Conduct therapeutic exercises and modalities as instructed by the physical therapist.


• Treatment Planning:Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing patient treatment plans.


• Therapeutic Interventions: Implement various therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, exercise prescriptions, modalities, and patient education.


• Documentation: While using Raintree, Monitor and document patient progress during treatment sessions, reporting changes to the physical therapist.


• Patient Education:Educate patients and families on exercises, pain management techniques, and care plans


• Professional Atmosphere: Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care and safety.

Qualifications:

• Associate Degree as Physical Therapy Assistant from accredited institution.


• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.


• Previous outpatient experience preferred but not required.


• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
