We Are Hiring

• Department: Rehabilitation
• Schedule: Part-time, 16 hours/week, Weekend only position with option for some weekday coverage. 40/52 weekends per year
• Hospital: Sacred Heart Rehab
• Location: Mequon, WI

What You Will Do

Conduct medically prescribed physical therapy under the supervision of a physical therapist.

• Provide physical therapy interventions under a plan of care written by a physical therapist.
• Perform therapy interventions utilizing techniques and skills as appropriate for the patientpopulation.
• Document treatment interventions given.
• May coordinate activities of physical therapy aides, students and other support personnel.

What You Will Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license credentialed from the Wisconsin Physical Therapy Examining Board prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Additional Preferences

Completed Physical Therapy Assistant programCurrent or eligibility for State of Wisconsin licensureExperience in acute-care or inpatient-rehab settings preferred
