Job summary

STAT Home Health in Houma, LA is hiring a PRN PTA to assist patients with physical therapy needs and implement the plan of care during visits.

You will observe patient responses, prepare progress notes, and guide patients in therapeutic activities to improve function. Louisiana PTA license and CPR are required, with at least 1 year of PTA experience; reliable transportation is essential. Home health experience preferred.

Qualifications

Job Duties:

• Assist patients with physical therapy needs
• Provides services within scope of practice and in accordance with plan of care
• Observe/report patient's response to treatment along with any changes in his/her condition to PT or RN
• Prepare clinical and/or progress notes for each visit
• Guide patient in use of therapeutic, creative and self‑care activity for the purpose of improving function
