Job summary

The Carpenter Health Network is hiring a PRN Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) in Shreveport, LA. As part of our team, you will assist patients with their physical therapy needs and work within your scope of practice.

Job Duties

• Assist patients with physical therapy needs
• Provide services within scope of practice and in accordance with plan of care
• Observe/report patient\'s response to treatment along with any changes in his/her condition to PT or RN
• Prepare clinical and/or progress notes for each visit
• Guide patient in use of therapeutic, creative and self-care activity for the purpose of improving function

Qualifications

• Current Louisiana PTA license required
• CPR certification
• 1 year experience as a licensed PTA required
• Excellent customer service and time management skills
• Reliable transportation to visit patients
• Home Health experience preferred
