Flagship Therapy seeks a Full Time Physical Therapist Assistant for Lake Haven Post-Acute and Rehab in Dunedin, FL. The PTA will join an in-house rehab team serving geriatric patients with a focus on effective screening and development of care plans in a regulatory setting.

Responsibilities include delivering rehabilitative interventions, documenting outcomes, and collaborating with families and providers. New grads are welcome to apply and grow within a supportive environment.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct screening and evaluation of patients with physical functioning disorders and wound care, developing care plans per standards.
• Deliver rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment in line with regulatory requirements.
• Regular standing/walking; occasional lifting, transferring, and repositioning of patients/equipment.
• Administer rehabilitation procedures including manual techniques, ambulation, exercises, modalities, devices, and wound care.
• Provide counseling to patients, families, and other providers about physical disorders.
• Generate comprehensive discharge summaries ensuring regulatory and clinical compliance.

LAKE HAVEN POST-ACUTE AND REHAB – DUNEDIN, FL

Our expanding network of in-house therapy Ensign-affiliate operated healthcare facilities is growing, and we are scouting for excellent therapists to join us at Lake Haven Post-Acute and Rehab in Dunedin, FL. We can offer a stable and fun in-house therapy team to work with as well as excellent programs serving our geriatric clientele in their journey to recovery. We are currently seeking dedicated Full Time Physical Therapist Assistant for our in-house rehab program!

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct effective screening and evaluation of patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, developing appropriate care plans adhering to regulatory and clinical standards.
• Deliver rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, in accordance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• The role involves regular standing and walking throughout the facility and occasional lifting, transferring, and repositioning of patients and equipment. Physical demands vary throughout the day based on patient care needs.
• Administer various procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan, including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, use of supportive and assistive devices, and wound care.
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding physical disorders.
• Generate comprehensive discharge summaries of services provided, ensuring compliance with regulatory and clinical requirements.

Qualifications

• Physical Therapist Assistant license is required.
