Job summary

Ultimate Therapy is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehab team within a skilled nursing facility at Autumn Lake @ Southgate, Carney's Point Twp, NJ. Salary: $34–$38/hour.

You will work under the direction of a Physical Therapist to improve mobility, safety, and overall function for residents in a long-term care setting, delivering therapy interventions and assisting with transfers, documentation, and collaboration with the care team.

Qualifications

• Active PTA license required.
• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver prescribed therapy interventions including exercise, gait training, and mobility work.
• Assist residents with transfers, positioning, and use of assistive devices.
• Monitor patient tolerance and progress during sessions.
• Communicate effectively with the supervising PT and care team.
• Complete accurate documentation in a timely manner.
