Job summary

Ultimate Therapy Services is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for the Autumn Lake at Berkeley Heights facility in Berkeley Heights, NJ. This full-time role partners with Physical Therapists and an interdisciplinary clinical team to deliver individualized rehabilitation in a skilled nursing setting.

You will assist with mobility, strengthening, balance, gait, and functional activities, document care, and participate in a collaborative approach to resident care.

Qualifications

• Valid NJ PTA license required.
• Strong communication and resident-care skills.
• New graduates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on therapy according to treatment plans established by a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Work with residents on mobility, strengthening, balance, gait, transfers, and functional activities.

Join Ultimate Therapy as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) and help residents work toward greater mobility and independence. You'll partner with Physical Therapists and an interdisciplinary clinical team to deliver individualized rehabilitation services in a skilled nursing setting.

What You'll Do

• Provide hands-on therapy according to treatment plans established by a licensed Physical Therapist
• Work with residents on mobility, strengthening, balance, gait, transfers, and functional activities
• Encourage residents as they work toward individualized rehabilitation goals
• Monitor treatment response and share relevant updates with the supervising PT
• Reinforce exercise programs and safe mobility techniques with residents and caregivers
• Complete clinical documentation accurately and on time
