Job Responsibilities

The Physical Therapist performs examinations, evaluations, and establishes plans of care including goals and recommendations for discharge. Provides daily treatment to promote functional independence, modifies treatment programs, documents in EHR, and collaborates with the interdisciplinary team. Participates in program improvement, clinical education, and customer service standards.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy
• Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Physical Therapist in Arkansas
• Must be fitted for and capable of donning PPE including N95 masks, PAPR, or CAPR

Preferred Qualifications:

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy
• Experience as a PT in acute care
• Current AHA BLS certification (must obtain within 30 days)
• 2+ years of Physical Therapy experience

Additional Responsibilities

Includes conducting evaluations, creating care plans, utilizing therapeutic techniques, assessing responses, instructing patients, documentation, interdisciplinary collaboration, and continuing education.
