Job summary

Amedisys Home Health in Grove, OK is seeking a Physical Therapist for full-time day shifts. Earn a $7,500 sign-on bonus with a salary range of $109,200 to $129,480 per year.

Work in a supportive home-health setting with a comprehensive benefits package including PPO or HSA plans, PTO, and wellness rewards. Qualifications

• Current license to practice physical therapy in the assigned state.
• Graduate from an accredited physical therapy program (CAPTE).
• One year of PT home health experience preferred; if less, mentoring/leadership approval may be required.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Help patients maintain, restore and improve movement, activity and function.
• Provide interventions, conduct periodic reexaminations (every 30 days at minimum), adjust plans as needed, and perform discharge planning.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice physical therapy specific to the state you're assigned to work in.
• Graduate from an accredited physical therapy educational program as set by the Commission on Accreditation of Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE).
• One year related physical therapy experience for PTs entering home health care to ensure that knowledge and skills are sufficient to safely provide physical therapy services to patients.
• If less than one year of experience, approval from regional clinical leaders is required as well as appropriate mentoring and/or participating in a residency program.
• Current CPR certification.
