Job summary

Mercy Hospital Washington, Washington, MO, is seeking a Physical Therapist to deliver objective assessments and individualized treatment plans for adults and geriatric patients. The role includes direct supervision of patients and indirect supervision of rehabilitation technicians, with general supervision of PT assistants in line with State Practice Acts.

We offer a Full Time position (40 hours/week) at Mercy, with a $10,000 sign-on bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor, Master of Science in Physical Therapy or Doctorate of Physical Therapy.
• Licensure: Current/Temporary license of Physical Therapy in state of practice.
• Certifications: BLS certified.Required certifications must be current before assigned to care for patients independently.
• Preferred Experience: Six months to one year experience is preferred for Rehabilitation Physical Therapist.

Responsibilities

• Perform objective assessments and develop comprehensive individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients.
• Direct supervision to patients and indirect supervision of rehabilitation technicians.
• General supervision of PT assistants in accordance with State Practice Acts.
• Perform duties consistently with Mercy mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
