Job summary

Mercy is hiring a Physical Therapist in Washington, MO to assess and treat adult and geriatric patients under supervision. You will lead treatment programs, supervise rehab staff, and ensure care aligns with Mercy Service Standards. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is offered. Full-time, 40 hours per week, on-site at Mercy Hospital Washington.

Qualified candidates hold a PT degree or higher and active licensure with BLS certification. Generous benefits and growth opportunities accompany this role.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor, Master of Science in Physical Therapy or Doctorate of Physical Therapy.
• Licensure: Current/Temporary Physical Therapy license in state of practice.
• Certifications: BLS; current before caring for patients independently.
• Preferred Experience: 6 months to 1 year in rehabilitation PT; adults and geriatric care preferred.
• Physical requirements: ability to lift 50 lbs, stand/walk for long periods, and bend/kneel/ twist.

Responsibilities

• Conduct objective assessments and develop comprehensive individualized treatment plans for adult and geriatric patients.
• Supervise patients directly and oversee rehabilitation technicians and PT assistants as required.
• Collaborate with Mercy team to deliver high-quality care within Mercy Service Standards.
