Job summary

Kessler Rehabilitation Center in Woodland Park is seeking a Physical Therapist to join our team. This full-time role focuses on comprehensive evaluations, individualized treatment plans, and patient education, helping patients return to athletics, work, and life.

A NJ PT license is required, with opportunities for growth and a supportive mentorship environment. Sign-on available up to $20,000 and an annual bonus program, plus comprehensive benefits and 401(k).

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) accredited school of physical therapy.
• Valid New Jersey State Physical Therapy License/Registration REQUIRED to start.
• Prior experience in outpatient orthopedics preferred; entry level/new grad acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Performs comprehensive evaluations and develops individualized treatment plans.
• Provides patient and caregiver education for discharge planning when appropriate.
• Contributes to departmental initiatives and communicates with rehab team members.
• Facilitates professional growth and improves departmental performance.
• Performs other professional duties related to care and program delivery.

Responsibilities Of The Physical Therapist (PT)

• Performs comprehensive evaluations, develops and appropriately progresses individualized treatment plans.
• Provides thorough education to patients and caregivers in a manner they can understand, and plans appropriately for discharge when medical necessity no longer indicates skilled therapeutic care.
• Participates in departmental initiatives and demonstrates effective communication with all rehab team members.
• Facilitates professional growth, development and overall improvement of departmental performance.
• Performs other professional duties associated with the care of the patient, development of discipline-specific therapy services, and design of program delivery.
• Must be a graduate of an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) accredited school of physical therapy.
• Valid New Jersey State Physical Therapy License/ Registration REQUIRED to start.
• Prior experience in outpatient orthopedics preferred; entry level/New Grad acceptable
