Job summary

Kessler Rehabilitation Center in Westwood, NJ is seeking a Physical Therapist for full-time, 40 hours weekly. You will perform comprehensive evaluations and progress personalized treatment plans in collaboration with our rehab team.

Earn $86,000–$110,000 annually with a sign-on bonus up to $10,000, student debt benefit, mentorship, paid CEUs, generous PTO and a robust benefits package to support your growth and well-being.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an APTA-accredited physical therapy program.
• Active New Jersey state PT license/registration required.
• Experience in outpatient orthopedics preferred; entry level acceptable.
• Strong skills in patient and caregiver education.

Responsibilities

• Performs comprehensive evaluations and develops individualized treatment plans.
• Educates patients and caregivers and plans discharge when appropriate.
• Participates in departmental initiatives and demonstrates effective communication with rehab team.
• Facilitates professional growth and overall department improvement.
• Performs other professional duties related to care, therapy services, and program delivery.
• Must be a graduate of an APTA-accredited school of physical therapy.
• Valid New Jersey State Physical Therapy License/ Registration REQUIRED to start.
• Prior outpatient orthopedics experience preferred; entry level/New Grad acceptable.

Responsibilities Of The Physical Therapist (PT)

• Performs comprehensive evaluations, develops and appropriately progresses individualized treatment plans.
• Provides thorough education to patients and caregivers in a manner they can understand, and plans appropriately for discharge when medical necessity no longer indicates skilled therapeutic care.
• Participates in departmental initiatives and demonstrates effective communication with all rehab team members.
• Facilitates professional growth, development and overall improvement of departmental performance.
• Performs other professional duties associated with the care of the patient, development of discipline-specific therapy services, and design of program delivery.
• Must be a graduate of an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) accredited school of physical therapy.
• Valid New Jersey State Physical Therapy License/ Registration REQUIRED to start.
• Prior experience in outpatient orthopedics preferred; entry level/New Grad acceptable
