Kessler Rehabilitation Center in Woodland Park, NJ is hiring a Physical Therapist for a full-time 40-hour weekly role. Compensation ranges from $86,000 to $110,000 annually based on experience, plus a sign-on bonus up to $20,000 and an incentive program.

You will perform evaluations, develop and progress treatment plans, educate patients and families, and collaborate with the rehab team. NJ license required; outpatient orthopedic experience preferred; entry-level welcome.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an APTA-accredited physical therapy program.
• Valid New Jersey state PT license/registration required to start.
• Experience in outpatient orthopedics preferred; entry level welcome.

Responsibilities

• Performs comprehensive evaluations and develops progression of individualized treatment plans.
• Provides patient and caregiver education and plans discharge when appropriate.
• Collaborates with rehab team and participates in department initiatives.
• Supports professional growth and improves departmental performance.
• Performs other professional duties related to therapeutic services.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities of the Physical Therapist (PT):

• Performs comprehensive evaluations, develops and appropriately progresses individualized treatment plans.
• Provides thorough education to patients and caregivers in a manner they can understand, and plans appropriately for discharge when medical necessity no longer indicates skilled therapeutic care.
• Participates in departmental initiatives and demonstrates effective communication with all rehab team members.
• Facilitates professional growth, development and overall improvement of departmental performance.
• Performs other professional duties associated with the care of the patient, development of discipline-specific therapy services, and design of program delivery.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) accredited school of physical therapy.
• Valid New Jersey State Physical Therapy License/ Registration REQUIRED to start.
• Prior experience in outpatient orthopedics preferred; entry level/New Grad acceptable
