Job summary

Kessler Rehabilitation Center in Monroe, NJ is seeking a Physical Therapist to join our outpatient team. This full-time role offers a 40-hour work week, a competitive compensation range, and a sign-on bonus up to $10,000.

You will perform evaluations, develop individualized plans, provide patient education, and collaborate with the rehab team. NJ state license required; outpatient orthopedics experience preferred, entry level welcomed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an APTA-accredited physical therapy program.
• Valid New Jersey State Physical Therapy License/Registration.
• Outpatient orthopedics experience preferred; entry level acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Performs comprehensive evaluations and develops individualized treatment plans.
• Provides thorough patient and caregiver education and plans discharge when appropriate.
• Participates in departmental initiatives and communicates effectively with rehab team.
• Fosters professional growth and contributes to department performance improvement.
• Performs other duties related to therapy services and program delivery.
• Must be a graduate of an APTA-accredited school of physical therapy; NJ license required.

Responsibilities Of The Physical Therapist (PT)

• Performs comprehensive evaluations, develops and appropriately progresses individualized treatment plans.
• Provides thorough education to patients and caregivers in a manner they can understand, and plans appropriately for discharge when medical necessity no longer indicates skilled therapeutic care.
• Participates in departmental initiatives and demonstrates effective communication with all rehab team members.
• Facilitates professional growth, development and overall improvement of departmental performance.
• Performs other professional duties associated with the care of the patient, development of discipline-specific therapy services, and design of program delivery.
• Must be a graduate of an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) accredited school of physical therapy.
• Valid New Jersey State Physical Therapy License/ Registration REQUIRED to start.
• Prior experience in outpatient orthopedics preferred; entry level/New Grad acceptable
