Sentara in Woodbridge, VA is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to join our outpatient rehabilitation team focused on orthopedic/MSK/sports medicine care. Candidates should have a Physical Therapist license; a Bachelor's is required and a Doctorate is preferred.

Qualifications

Overview:

OverviewAssess, plan, organize, and participate in rehabilitative programs that improve functional mobility, relieve pain, and improve or correct disabling conditions resulting from disease or injury. Provides age-appropriate education for clients and caregivers. Supervise and assume responsibility for care provided by identified team members.

Our adult outpatient hospital rehabilitation therapy center is seeking a physical Therapist to join our team clinically focused in outpatient orthopedic/MSK/sports medicine care. We have a team of physical therapists, chiropractors and message.

Candidates should have training and certification in, or interested in obtaining training and certification in: manual therapy skills Maitland, Mulligan, Mckenzie, IASTM, BP Restriction, SFMA, Dry Needling.

Guild Education Benefits will cover costs for obtaining the training in most cases

Education

Experience

• Performs modalities/therapeutic interventions in accordance with accepted standards of care and department policies and procedures.
• Provides effective instruction to the patient and family through standardized educational programs and/or individualized training.
• Initiate, develop, and maintain collaborative interactions with internal and external team members, patients, and family members to improve patient outcomes. Productive and efficient in daily operations.
• Selects and performs the appropriate assessment procedures. Establishes and updates formal plan of care to address individual patient needs.

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $103,376.00 - $149,115.20 annually.

Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs. Note: If an annual salary is posted, it is based on a full-time colleague working 2,080 hours annually.
