Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Physical Therapist to join a team at a skilled nursing facility (SNF) in Virginia, Minnesota. As a Physical Therapist, you will work with patients to help them regain movement and manage pain caused by injuries, illnesses, or surgeries. This is a full-time position with a competitive hourly rate of up to $50 per hour.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct initial evaluations and assessments to determine patients' physical needs and develop individualized treatment plans
• Administer therapeutic exercises and activities to improve patients' strength, mobility, and range of motion
• Utilize modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and heat/cold therapy to relieve pain and promote healing
• Educate patients and their families on exercises and techniques to continue at home for ongoing improvement
• Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as doctors and occupational therapists, to provide comprehensive care for patients
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment plans

Qualifications:

• Valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Minnesota
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a Physical Therapist, preferably in a SNF setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
