Job summary

Spectrum Healthcare Resources is seeking a Physical Therapist for on-site roles at Fort Belvoir, VA. The position supports military personnel and their families with orthopedic care and a collaborative clinical environment.

Candidates should hold a Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy, be a U.S. citizen, and have BLS certification. Monday–Friday, full-time or part-time schedules, with salary around $100K–$105K per year and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited college of Physical Therapy.
• Must have and maintain a valid, unrestricted license in one of the 50 United States, DC, Puerto Rico, Guam, or U.S. Virgin Islands.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience within the preceding three (3) years.
• Must have and maintain current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English well enough to communicate with patients and staff.
• Must have knowledge of computer operations and proficiency in basic word processing, data entry, and automated records.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage movement dysfunction and enhance physical and functional abilities.
• Restore, maintain, and promote optimal physical function, wellness, fitness, and quality of life related to neuromusculoskeletal health.
• Prevent impairment progression and disabilities from diseases, disorders, conditions, or injuries.
• Provide orthopedic clinical care for ages 15–64, including active-duty service members, retirees, and their families.

On-Site Staff Physical Therapist Spectrum Healthcare Resources has an excellent Potential opportunity for a Physical Therapist.

Location: Alexander T, Augusta Military Medical Center in Fort Belvoir, Virginia Schedule: Full-time/Part-Time — Monday–Friday

Requirements:

• Education: Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited college of Physical Therapy
• Preferred - Sports Medicine
• License: Must have and maintain a valid, unrestricted license in one of the 50 United States, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam, or the U.S. Virgin Islands
• Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of experience within the preceding three (3) years
• Certifications: Must have and maintain current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification
• Citizenship: Must be a U.S. citizen
• Communication: Must be able to read, write, and speak English well enough to effectively communicate with patients and other staff members
• Technical Skills: Must have knowledge of computer operations and proficiency in basic word processing, data entry, and automated records
