Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist (PT) to join our outpatient rehabilitation team in Texas. The Physical Therapist will evaluate, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans to help patients improve mobility, reduce pain, restore function, and achieve their rehabilitation goals. New graduates are encouraged to apply, and mentorship is available.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and assessments.
- Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
- Provide therapeutic interventions, including therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, gait training, balance training, and functional mobility activities.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as clinically appropriate.
- Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, injury prevention, wellness strategies, and functional independence.
- Collaborate with physicians, healthcare providers, and rehabilitation team members to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Complete accurate and timely documentation in accordance with clinic policies, payer requirements, and Texas Physical Therapy Practice Act requirements.
- Maintain compliance with applicable state, federal, and professional standards of practice.
- Assist with maintaining a safe, clean, and organized therapy environment.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program.
- Current Texas Physical Therapist license issued by the Texas Board of Physical Therapy Examiners (TBPTE), or eligibility to obtain Texas licensure.
- Successful completion of the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE) or eligibility for licensure.
- Current CPR/BLS certification or ability to obtain upon hire.
- Knowledge of evidence-based physical therapy practices and rehabilitation techniques.
- Strong interpersonal, clinical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced outpatient setting.
