Job summary

Eden Senior Care's Whispering Pines Nursing & Rehab facility in Wisconsin seeks a compassionate Physical Therapist (PT/PRN) to evaluate, treat, and guide patients in rehab programs.

Candidates must hold a DPT or MPT and an active Wisconsin license; new grads welcome. PRN/part-time roles include a $6,000 sign-on bonus for part-time and a $750 bonus for PRN.

Qualifications

• Active Wisconsin Physical Therapy license in good standing.
• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master’s in Physical Therapy (MPT) from an accredited program.
• New graduates are accepted!

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized therapy programs to restore, reinforce, and enhance patient performance.
• Identify the need for and make referrals to other healthcare disciplines as necessary to address the comprehensive needs of the patient.
• Instruct, educate, and train patients and caregivers in skills and functions essential for promoting patient independence, improving quality of life, and diminishing or correcting pathology.
• Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants, provisional licensees, students, and support personnel in accordance with state licensure requirements and professional standards.
• Develop personalized care plans using a variety of treatment techniques.
• Create fitness and wellness programs tailored to the specific needs of patients.
• Provide quality, personalized, and evidence-based care using proven interventions.
• Motivate patients during treatment to help them function optimally and reach their rehabilitation goals.
• Promote clients' healthy lifestyles by improving their strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Continuously evaluate patient progress, monitor outcomes, and communicate updates effectively with the interdisciplinary team.
