Job summary

Fit to Move Physical Therapy and Wellness is seeking a full-time licensed Physical Therapist in Texas to deliver evidence-based care and design individualized treatment plans. You will evaluate patients, educate on injury prevention, and guide recovery with a patient-centered approach.

You will work under mentorship from senior clinicians, collaborate with referring providers, and contribute to community outreach and patient acquisition while maintaining thorough documentation and high standards

Qualifications

  • DPT or equivalent from an accredited program.
  • Current Texas license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
  • CPR/AED certification (current).

Responsibilities

  • Perform initial evaluations, establish diagnoses, and create treatment plans.
  • Deliver one-on-one patient care with high-quality, individualized treatment.
  • Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and injury prevention.
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation and reports by end of day.

At our clinic, mentorship is a cornerstone of professional development. You will work alongside and be mentored by an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) and Manual Therapy Fellow, gaining advanced orthopedic and manual therapy training to build a strong foundation for clinical excellence and long-term career growth.


The physical therapistis responsible forevaluating and treating patients, designing individualized care plans,monitoringprogress, and ensuring safe and effective interventions. They educate patients on injury prevention, self-management, and wellness strategies, while fostering strong relationships that promote retention and referrals.


In addition to providing excellent clinical care, the physical therapist playsan important rolein patient acquisition and retention by building relationships in the community.


The physical therapist must be both clinician and ambassador to:



  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and referring providers to encourage engagement with our services.

  • Conduct thorough evaluations, develop and document individualized treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based interventions tailored to patient needs and goals.

  • Reassess andmodifytreatment plans based on patient progress, changing needs, or updated clinical findings.

  • Educate patients and caregivers about home exercise programs, posture, ergonomics, and injury-prevention strategies.

  • Reports any problems to the clinic director orfront office,depending on whether the issue is clinical or patient-related, for swift resolution.

  • Completesallclinical and patientdocumentation by the end of that current business day.

  • Deliver one-on-one patient care, ensuring high-quality, individualized treatment.

  • Conduct reassessments andmaintainaccurate,timelydocumentation.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment.

  • Uphold Fit to Move’s policies in patient and staff interactions,demonstratingprofessionalism and service excellence at all times.

  • Attend mandatory meetings, in-services, and training as scheduled.

Required Qualifications


  • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree from an accredited program.

  • Current state licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in Texas.

  • Current CPR/AED certification.


Minimum Qualifications


  • Ability to workfull-time.
