Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Physical Therapist to join a leading healthcare organization in Texas. You will provide personalized therapy, evaluate patients, create treatment plans, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve mobility and recovery.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and set goals with individualized treatment plans.
• Implement exercises, manual therapy, modalities, and rehab procedures.
• Monitor progress and adjust plans per physician orders and standards.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and staff for coordinated care.
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and safety.
• Supervise technicians and ensure safe operation of equipment.
• Participate in quality improvement and policy adherence.
• Deliver care across inpatient, outpatient, or rehab settings as assigned.

Job Details / Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients, establish realistic goals, and develop individualized treatment plans according to physician orders


• Implement therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, modalities, and rehabilitation procedures to restore function and mobility


• Assess patient progress regularly, modify plans as needed, and document accurately in compliance with departmental and regulatory standards


• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, nurses, and support staff for coordinated patient care


• Provide patient and family education on home exercise programs, safety, and self-management strategies


• Direct and supervise technicians or support personnel while maintaining equipment safety and operation


• Participate in departmental quality improvement, educational programs, and policy adherence


• Deliver care across inpatient acute, outpatient, or rehab settings depending on assignment while promoting maximum patient independence

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in Texas required


• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program (Bachelor’s required; Doctorate preferred)


• Current BLS certification


• New graduates or experienced therapists welcome; 1+ years preferred for advanced settings


• Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and interpersonal skills


• Ability to work full-time schedule including potential varied shifts or weekends as needed
