Description

Birch Agency is actively recruiting Physical Therapists in Philadelphia, PA. Our Occupational Therapists help students with disabilities address physical, cognitive, sensory, and psychosocial challenges. They support students in succeeding within the educational system by considering the whole child and helping overcome specific learning obstacles.

Opportunities Available

We currently have full-time Physical Therapy positions in a school setting. Opportunities are available for new graduates, experienced Physical Therapists, and retired PTs. Positions serve populations from birth to 21 years old, with some therapists working with specific age groups such as elementary students, while others work with a mixed K-12 age group.

Services You Will Provide

• Help students attain IEP and academic goals
• Collaborate with families and teachers to support student success
• Screen new students for eligibility
• Provide Physical Therapy to students with various disabilities
• Attend IEP meetings
• Develop home programs with parents when needed
• Complete paperwork following state guidelines
• Provide accurate documentation promptly
• Address learning and behavioral issues such as motor skills, cognitive processing, and visual or perceptual problems

Required Qualifications
