Description

Austill's Educational Services, the leading provider of school-based related services in southeastern PA, seeks 2 physical therapists to work with school-age students in a specialized school near Wynnewood for the ESY/summer session (7/7-8/7 with orientation the week prior) Monday-Thursday 8 am-2:15 pm (6.25 hours paid each day). We have 25-26 School Year Opportunities to consider in nearby Delaware, Montgomery, Chester Counties too!

Responsibilities of the Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant

  • Direct therapy with students in preschool to grade 12
  • Consultation with teachers, other therapists, support staff, and families to facilitate classroom mobility and participation.
  • Documentation requirements include data collection, marking period progress updates, and yearly IEP revisions, including updated goals and treatment strategies.
  • Attendance at IEP meetings is recommended.
  • Some travel may be required throughout the school day
Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy or Physical Therapist Assistant educational program.
  • Valid Pennsylvania Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant Indirect License
  • Passion for working with children and a clear dedication to helping them maximize their potential
  • Excellent written, verbal, and organizational skills
  • Exceptional desire to be a collaborative team member, learn and grow
