Job summary

Orwigsburg Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our rehabilitation team on a PRN basis, with potential for full-time/part-time engagement. The PT will evaluate residents, develop and implement treatment plans, and help restore mobility and function in accordance with individual care plans.

The role requires current PA PT licensure and experience in geriatric or skilled nursing settings is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current and valid Physical Therapist license in Pennsylvania.
• Experience in geriatric or skilled nursing settings preferred.
• Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform PT evaluations and develop treatment plans.
• Deliver PT interventions tailored to residents’ needs and goals.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated PRN Physical Therapist (PT) to join our rehabilitation team. In this role, you will provide high-quality therapy services to residents on an as-needed basis, helping them improve mobility, relieve pain, and restore function in accordance with individualized care plans.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough physical therapy evaluations and develop appropriate treatment plans.
• Deliver evidence-based PT interventions tailored to each resident’s needs and goals.
• Monitor and document patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary.
• Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team members, residents, and their families.
• Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with facility and regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

• Current and valid Physical Therapist license in the state of PA.
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Previous experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting is preferred.
• Strong clinical skills and a passion for geriatric care.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to a dynamic environment.
