Job summary

North Lake Physical Therapy is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to lead patient care initiatives and collaborate with our healthcare team. The role involves evaluating patients, developing comprehensive treatment plans, and delivering rehabilitation services with an emphasis on evidence-based practices.

Applicants must hold a DPT, a current Oregon PT license, CPR certification, and ideally have APTA certification.

Qualifications

  • DPT from an accredited institution.
  • Active Oregon PT license.
  • CPR certification valid.
  • APTA certification preferred.
  • Proven clinical experience in physical therapy.
  • Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques and modalities.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate patients' conditions and develop treatment plans.
  • Perform PT assessments and document progress.
  • Implement evidence-based rehabilitation protocols.
  • Supervise and coordinate with assistants and staff.
  • Maintain accurate EMR records.
  • Communicate plans with patients and families.
  • Adjust exercise programs based on patient needs.
  • Educate patients and caregivers on home programs.
  • Ensure regulatory and safety compliance.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.

Education

Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT)
Current Oregon State PT license
CPR certification

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our growing healthcare team. As a Physical Therapist, you will lead patient care initiatives and work collaboratively with our healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional rehabilitation services.

  • Evaluate patients' conditions and develop comprehensive treatment plans
  • Perform detailed physical therapy assessments and document patient progress
  • Implement evidence-based treatment protocols and rehabilitation programs
  • Supervise and coordinate with Physical Therapist Assistants and support staff
  • Maintain accurate patient records using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems
  • Communicate treatment plans and progress with patients, families, and healthcare providers
  • Develop and adjust therapeutic exercise programs based on patient needs
  • Provide patient and caregiver education regarding treatment plans and home exercise programs
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and safety protocols
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
Qualifications
  • Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution
  • Current Oregon State Physical Therapy license
  • Valid CPR certification
  • APTA certification preferred
  • Proven clinical experience in physical therapy
  • Strong knowledge of rehabilitation techniques and modalities
  • Proficiency in EMR systems and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent assessment and diagnostic skills
  • Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics
  • Demonstrated leadership and supervisory abilities
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with insurance documentation and billing procedures
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
