Sports Medicine Oregon is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our Tigard, Oregon healthcare team. You will lead patient care initiatives and collaborate with professionals to deliver exceptional rehabilitation services.

Qualifications

• Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Proven licensure in Oregon.
• APTA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform PT assessments and document progress.
• Implement evidence-based treatment protocols and rehab programs.
• Supervise and coordinate with PTAs and support staff.
• Maintain patient records in EMR systems.
• Communicate plans and progress with patients and families.

• Educate patients on plans and home exercises.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and safety protocols.

• Evaluate patients' conditions and develop comprehensive treatment plans
• Perform detailed physical therapy assessments and document patient progress
• Implement evidence-based treatment protocols and rehabilitation programs
• Supervise and coordinate with Physical Therapist Assistants and support staff
• Maintain accurate patient records using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems
• Communicate treatment plans and progress with patients, families, and healthcare providers
• Develop and adjust therapeutic exercise programs based on patient needs
• Provide patient and caregiver education regarding treatment plans and home exercise programs
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and safety protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes

Qualifications

• Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution
• Current Oregon State Physical Therapy license
• Valid CPR certification
• APTA certification preferred
• Proven clinical experience in physical therapy
• Strong knowledge of rehabilitation techniques and modalities
• Proficiency in EMR systems and Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent assessment and diagnostic skills
• Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics
• Demonstrated leadership and supervisory abilities
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience with insurance documentation and billing procedures
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Commitment to continuing education and professional development
