Job summary

TriStar Southern Hills Medical Center is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to evaluate and care for diverse patient populations in its department. You will apply evidence-based therapies, document progress, and coordinate with care teams to support patient goals.

This role requires a TN Physical Therapy license, graduation from an accredited PT program, and current Basic Life Support (BLS). The center offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for clinical growth within HCA Healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Plan and use therapies involving physical exercise, massage, heat, water, light and electricity.
• Utilize various mechanical and electrical equipment and prosthetic and orthotic devices.
• Evaluate, record and report on patient's response to treatment and progress toward identified goals.
• Integrate physical therapy treatments with other aspects of patient care.
• Assist patients reach their maximal reasonably levels of function and to cope with their limitations.
• Monitor, record and communicate patient condition as appropriate utilizing computerized documentation systems.
