Job summary

TriStar Southern Hills Medical Center in Nashville seeks a Physical Therapist to evaluate and treat a diverse patient population in our rehabilitation department. You will plan therapies and coordinate with the care team to promote optimal recovery.

Candidates must hold a Tennessee PT license, be a graduate of an accredited PT program, and maintain current BLS certification. This role offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities to contribute to patient care across services.

Responsibilities

• Plan and apply therapies involving physical exercise, massage, heat, water, light and electricity.
• Utilize various mechanical and electrical equipment and prosthetic and orthotic devices.
• Evaluate, record and report on patient's response to treatment and progress toward identified goals.
• Integrate physical therapy treatments with other aspects of patient care.
• Assist patients reach their maximal reasonably levels of function and to cope with their limitations.
• Monitor, record and communicate patient condition as appropriate utilizing computerized documentation systems.
