Job summary

MOTION PT Group in Rockland County, NY is seeking a Licensed Physical Therapist to join our outpatient orthopedic team. You will treat a diverse caseload, collaborate with physicians, and benefit from AI-assisted documentation, built-in mentorship, and a supportive leadership team.

The position offers a competitive salary from 85K to 112K plus a sign-on bonus, up to 25K in student loan repayment, and annual CEU support.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist (or ability to obtain in the state of practice).
• CPR and first aid certification required.
• Experience with outpatient orthopedic physical therapy treatment as a licensed therapist or during clinical rotations for new grads.
• Experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting, including exposure to post-operative care, overuse injuries, gait and balance assessment, and sports-related conditions.

Responsibilities

• Applying clinical reasoning to assess movement dysfunction and underlying causes through history and exam.
• Collaboratively developing evidence-based plans of care reflecting patient goals and lifestyle.
• Delivering interventions including therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, and modalities to improve function and reduce pain.
• Tracking patient outcomes and adjusting approach based on progress.
• Serving as a trusted resource and advocate throughout recovery.

Licensed Physical Therapists with orthopedic outpatient experience and new graduates with relevant orthopedic clinical affiliation experience are encouraged to apply.

Compensation

$85K - $112K+ inclusive of productivity incentives, with additional compensation opportunities for certifications. Benefits include generous paid time off, medical, dental, vision, disability, and 401(K) with a 4% employer match.
