Job summary

MOTION PT Group in Connecticut seeks a licensed Physical Therapist for a full-time outpatient role. You will provide patient-first, 40+ minute one-on-one care across orthopedic and general cases in a modern clinic with a built-in referral network.

This position offers mentorship for new grads, a pathway for higher-volume caseloads, and total compensation including $85K-$112K plus production incentives, plus sign-on and loan repayment options.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist in the state or eligible to practice.
• CPR and first aid certification required.
• Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred; open to new grads with clinical fieldwork.
• Evidence-based, patient-centered care is essential.

Responsibilities

• Assess movement dysfunction through history and examination.
• Develop and adjust evidence-based plans of care to meet patient goals.
• Deliver interventions including therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and modalities.
• Track patient outcomes and adapt approach based on progress.
• Advocate for patients throughout recovery journey.

Job Type

Full-time (Mon-Fri; 40 hours per week) Availability for Mon and Wed evening shifts is required ; other scheduling options are flexible and will be discussed during the interview

Responsibilities

• Applying your clinical reasoning to assess movement dysfunction and identify underlying causes through patient history and physical examination.
• Collaboratively developing and adjusting evidence-based plans of care that reflect each patient’s goals, needs, and lifestyle.
• Delivering skilled interventions, including therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, and modalities, to improve function and reduce pain.
• Tracking meaningful patient outcomes and adjusting your approach based on progress and clinical presentation.
• Serving as a trusted resource and advocate for your patients throughout their recovery journey.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist (or ability to obtain in the state of practice)
• Passion for evidence-based, patient centered care
• CPR and first aid certification required
• Preferred: 1+ years of experience as a licensed physical therapist in an outpatient orthopedic setting
• Open to new graduates with extensive orthopedic outpatient experience gained during clinical fieldwork
• Experience with outpatient orthopedic physical therapy treatment

Compensation

$85K - $112K+ inclusive of productivity incentives, with additional earning potential for clinicians interested in a higher-volume caseload model , plus additional compensation opportunities for certifications.
