Kessler Rehabilitation Center in Monroe, NJ is hiring a Physical Therapist for a full-time 40-hour weekly role with a compensation range of $86,000 to $110,000 annually, depending on experience. A sign-on bonus of up to $10,000 is offered.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an APTA-accredited school of physical therapy.
• Valid New Jersey State Physical Therapy license/registration REQUIRED to start.
• Prior outpatient orthopedics experience preferred; entry level acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Performs comprehensive evaluations, develops and progresses individualized treatment plans.
• Provides patient and caregiver education and plans discharge when medical necessity no longer indicates skilled therapy.
• Participates in departmental initiatives and communicates effectively with rehab team.
• Facilitates professional growth and overall improvement of department performance.
• Performs other duties related to patient care and program delivery.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities of the Physical Therapist (PT):

• Performs comprehensive evaluations, develops and appropriately progresses individualized treatment plans.
• Provides thorough education to patients and caregivers in a manner they can understand, and plans appropriately for discharge when medical necessity no longer indicates skilled therapeutic care.
• Participates in departmental initiatives and demonstrates effective communication with all rehab team members.
• Facilitates professional growth, development and overall improvement of departmental performance.
• Performs other professional duties associated with the care of the patient, development of discipline-specific therapy services, and design of program delivery.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) accredited school of physical therapy.
• Valid New Jersey State Physical Therapy License/ Registration REQUIRED to start.
• Prior experience in outpatient orthopedics preferred; entry level/New Grad acceptable
