Job summary

Northwood Rehabilitation & Health Care Center in Lowell is seeking a Physical Therapist to join our rehab team. Positions are available full-time, part-time, and per diem, with compensation up to $65 per hour and weekly pay. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is available for eligible candidates.

Qualified applicants hold a Physical Therapy degree (BS/MS/PhD) and must maintain licensure as required by state statutes. Two years of clinical experience is preferred, and strong communication, organization, and

• Communicate effectively with patients, residents, team members, customers, and supervisors.

• Provide patient/resident assessment, care planning, direct treatment, and consultation to a general rehab caseload
• Participate in the clinical team process and contribute to quality improvement activities
• Consult with and train patients, residents, and caregivers
• Monitor efficiencies and document activities according to company policies
• Communicate effectively with patients, residents, team members, customers, and supervisors
• Demonstrate courtesy, compassion, and respect to patients, residents, families, caregivers, visitors, physicians, administrators, and co-workers

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science Degree, Master of Science, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy
• Appropriate licensing requirements by individual states must be maintained
• Two (2) years of clinical experience preferred
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
• Ability to function effectively in multi-faceted systems and to interact effectively with all levels of staff and customers
• Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively for self and others
• Ability to cope with periodic stress associated with changing census and staffing demands
