Job summary

Jefferson Hospital is seeking a Physical Therapist to join our Rehab team. You will evaluate patients, develop treatment plans, and direct therapy sessions under physician orders to restore or maintain function after injury or illness.

The role includes supervising Certified Physical Therapy Assistants and ensuring high-quality patient care in a hospital setting. Georgia licensure and BLS certification are required to join our multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• DPT degree required from CAPTE-accredited program.
• Current Georgia Physical Therapist license required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, plan, direct and administer physical therapy treatments as prescribed by a physician.
• Supervise Certified Physical Therapy Assistants and ensure proper administration of treatments.
• Restore or maintain function following injury, disease, or disability.

Job Description: We’re seeking a Physical Therapist to join our team at Jefferson Hospital.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

• Physical Therapists are responsible for evaluating, planning, directing, and administering physical therapy
  treatments as prescribed by a licensed physician. Physical Therapists supervise Certified Physical
  Therapy Assistants and ensure that all treatments are administered properly to restore or maintain
  function following injury, disease, or physical disability.

Position Requirements:

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from a program accredited by the Commission on
  Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE).
• Current Physical Therapist License in the State of Georgia.
• BLS
