Job summary

Alamitos West Health & Rehabilitation in Los Alamitos, CA is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist for our in-house rehab program. This role offers a flexible schedule with weekend availability and compensation between $47 and $60 per hour, based on experience.

As part of our post-acute care team, you will screen and evaluate patients, deliver prescribed therapies, contribute to discharge planning, and educate patients and families.

Qualifications

• Physical Therapist license is required.
• New Grads are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Screen and evaluate patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, developing appropriate care plans.
• Deliver rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients.
• Perform procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan, including manual techniques, exercises, modalities, and wound care.
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, and caregivers.
• Generate discharge summaries compliant with regulatory and clinical requirements.

Alamitos West Health & Rehabilitation in Los Alamitos, CA , is a post-acute care facility with long-term care, short-term care, and geriatric services provided. We can offer a stable and fun in-house therapy team to work with as well as excellent programs serving our geriatric clientele in their journey to recovery. We are currently seeking a Full Time Physical Therapist for our in-house rehab program!

Full Time : Flexible schedule with weekend availability

Pay: $47- $60/hour based on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct effective screening and evaluation of patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, developing appropriate care plans adhering to regulatory and clinical standards.
• Deliver rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, in accordance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• Administer various procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan, including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, use of supportive and assistive devices, and wound care.
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding physical disorders.
• Generate comprehensive discharge summaries of services provided, ensuring compliance with regulatory and clinical requirements.

Qualifications

• Physical Therapist license is required.
• Open to Physical Therapists at all experience levels. New Grads are welcome!
